Did you go straight into your Apprenticeship from school, if no what did you do previous to this role?
Yes straight after year 11 I decided to do a apprenticeship at Blenheim!
What made you apply for an apprenticeship?
I thought it would be good experience and a great way to get a better understanding about how things work in the world of work.
Why did you choose Blenheim Palace and what attracted you to our apprenticeship scheme?
I had heard a lot of good things about apprenticeships at Blenheim by people who have already done them and who are still doing them now.
What are your key roles/ responsibilities?
Customer service, help replenish and stock the shop floor, help count stock, help design and create all the different displays.
What do you like best about the job?
How different every day is. I also love getting creative and designing all the different displays and of course can't forget about the lovely retail team!
How are you finding the apprenticeship and how is it helping you progress?
I am absolutely loving the apprenticeship, I think it is helping a lot with my confidence too.
What do you hope to gain and once your apprenticeship has finished?
Wider business knowledge, management skills, visual merchandising skills
