Did you go straight into your Apprenticeship from school, if no what did you do previous to this role?
No I worked part time for a Tree surgery company in Didcot.
What made you apply for an apprenticeship?
Because I wanted to learn whilst on the job.
Why did you choose Blenheim Estate and what attracted you to our apprenticeship scheme?
Because it is a lovely estate.
What are your key roles/ responsibilities?
Felling, planting and making the grounds look tidy.
What do you like best about the job?
Working outside and Tree work.
How are you finding the apprenticeship and how is it helping you progress?
I’m enjoying it very much and it’s helping me progress from learning things I didn’t know before.
What do you hope to gain and once your apprenticeship has finished?
I hope to gain all the knowledge of the Arb/Forestry business and to be a fully qualified Tree Surgeon.
