Deputy Restaurant Manager

Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

 

Business:

  • Supports the Restaurant Manager to lead the operational standards of the restaurant catering team at Blenheim with direct and positive “hands on” approach
  • Achieves the required standards for restaurants regarding operational excellence, presentation, and service
  • Regularly monitors customer feedback to discuss with other managers for implementation in an improvement action plan
  • Ensure till transaction reporting, banking and input of all allowances such staff feeding and wastage are correct
  • Leads and delivers a compliant food safe environment in accordance with company and legal food safety regulations, including Food Safety Act 1990, Weights & Measures Act 2015 and Natasha’s Law 2021
  • Leads and deliver a safe place to work according to the company policies and legal health and safety regulations
  • Report near misses, accidents and incidents on Mobaro. 

 

Planning:

  • Supports the Restaurant Manager to manage all orders and stock levels, for food and non-food items and intercompany orders from the hub are placed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the stock take is undertaken when required and corrective action on stock variances.

  • Coaches, mentors and ensures restaurant team members have the knowledge and skills to do their job well. “Leads by example”
  • Manages teams’ performance, development and training.
  • Ensure adherence to the uniform policy.
  • Contribution to the successful delivery of Blenheim’s mission.
  • Undertaking all reasonable management requests.
