Restaurant Assistant

An exciting opportunity to join our team as Restaurant Assistant

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick in fulfilling customer needs.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are presented and served in line with specified standards (eg. conferences, receptions, table service, order taking)
  • Take part in the setup of all tables and required equipment, as well as the de-rigging and clearing of those
  • Take orders and process payment for those
  • Ensure Food Safety and Allergen guidelines are followed.
  • Work as a team and undertake duties in the restaurant area as requested to ensure an outstanding service is delivered at all times.
  • Promote an inclusive working environment for staff, colleagues, and customers
  • Work with your team to ensure that the unit meets statutory and company requirements of H&S, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures at all time by using the Food Alert Procedures 
  • Report all near misses, accidents and incidents within the location to your supervisor or manager
  • Attend all training courses as required.  
  • Report all broken equipment to the deputy or manager.
  • Complete the unit cleaning schedules for the location on each shift
  • Adhere to uniform, staff food and break policy.
  • Show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the business.
  • Respond to any reasonable request from any member of the management team
