Visitor Services Assistant

As a Visitor Services Assistant at ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’, you will be one of the first points of contact to our visitors and as such you must demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Visitor Services Team here at Blenheim Palace. As a Visitor Services Assistant at ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’, you will be one of the first points of contact to our visitors and as such you must demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times. You should always be smart and professional, remembering that our visitors want to have an enjoyable visit.

  • Contract Type: Seasonal Zero Hours
  • Full or Part Time: Flexible
  • Working Hours: Flexible 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • To deliver excellent Customer Service to our Visitors.
  • Issuing of tickets, follow all till & cash handling procedures.
  • Car parking and traffic duties.
  • To maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Cleaning duties, covering internal & external areas of the Palace and ticket booths when required.
  • To be fully aware of customer and client confidentiality.
  • To maintain standards of Health and Safety in accordance with employers instructions and current legislation.
  • To be aware of the manual handling regulations.
  • Any additional duties considered to be appropriate by your Line Manager.

Previous customer relations experience would be an advantage and flexibility towards hours of work is essential as weekend and bank holiday work will be required.
