The Spitfire, alongside a Lancaster Bomber and a Hurricane, made three passes over Churchill's grave in Bladon before the Spitfire broke off to fly over Blenheim Palace.

Mike Edwards, MBE also led another two biplanes from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to create a V for Victory sign over the Palace as the RAF departed.
